FuelFriend is built to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does

and does not do with your data.

## The short version

• We do not* require an account, email address, name, or profile.
• We do not* sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
• The only data the app can request is your approximate location*, and only to

show cheap fuel stations near you.

## Information we collect

• Account information:* None. FuelFriend has no login or sign-up.
• Location:* If you choose to use the "near me" feature, the app requests your

approximate (coarse) location* through your device. This location is used only

to query for the cheapest stations within a short radius of you. It is processed

to return results and is **not stored, not linked to your identity, and not

shared**. You can decline location access and still use the app — you'll see

metro-wide cheapest stations instead.

• Preferences: *Your last-selected city and fuel type are saved \**locally on your

device** so the app remembers them. This never leaves your phone.

• Usage and diagnostics:* The app contacts our backend to fetch fuel-price data
