MockInterview AI ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered mock-interview app for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what information we
collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy.
- Information We Collect
We only collect what's needed to run the app. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Account information
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your password — stored only as a salted bcrypt hash; we never store or can read your plaintext password
Interview content you provide
- The job title / role and job description you enter
- Your chosen focus area, interviewer persona, and any custom guidance
- The answers you type during a mock interview
Interview results we generate
- AI-generated interview questions
- Per-answer and overall scores (technical, communication, confidence)
- AI-generated feedback and your session history (including session length and date)
Information stored on your device
- A login token (JWT) is saved in your device's local storage to keep you signed in. It stays on your device and is sent only to our backend to
authenticate your requests.
